PASSION FOR GEMS
My name is Patrick, and I was born in Dénia (Alicante), a beautiful town in Spain on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. Not only do we enjoy a pleasant climate and rich local cuisine, but we also enjoy sandy beaches, rocks, and a large mountain known as Montgó—perfect ingredients that inspired my passion for gemstones from an early age.
I consider myself an adventurous person and passionate about rural life. I believe these are some of the other ingredients that led me to dedicate myself to international gem trading, as precious stones are found in the heart of nature, in wild and difficult-to-access areas.
WELCOME TO THE EXCITING WORLD OF COLORED GEMSTONES
Well, now that you know a little more about me, I would like to convey the following message: a message of gratitude to both Mother Earth for offering us something as beautiful as precious and semiprecious stones, and to the women and men who risk their lives to extract these gems in mines located in remote areas of our planet.
Nature, and more specifically Mother Earth, offers the best of her in small doses. A clear example of this is the stones that achieve the demanding gem status, a label that guarantees that a stone is beautiful enough to be set in a piece of jewelry and subsequently worn by its wearer.
My jewelry is handcrafted and fused with natural gemstones so that the wearer has a permanent connection with Mother Earth, thereby receiving the positive properties she offers us, such as inner peace, tranquility, and spiritual harmony.
The credit for carrying out the hard work of extracting gems from Mother Earth goes to the local families living in rural areas of countries such as Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Australia, Pakistan, Madagascar, Tanzania, Brazil, and Colombia, where, through small-scale ethical mining, they manage to surprise us with beautiful gems.
Owning one of my gems means making a positive and healthy contribution to the livelihood of these family ecosystems, where small-scale mining is their sole source of income and where both men and women enjoy this employment opportunity.
For your peace of mind, I ask my gemstone suppliers to demonstrate the traceability of their gems so I can be certain that none of my stones finance armed conflicts or were extracted through child exploitation.
